BLACKROCK COLLEGE (9th) v SHANNON (6th), Stradbrook, 1pm
Preview: Blackrock are in a precarious position in the relegation zone and four points behind Dublin University. A win could see them catch or overtake the students.
Shannon have not lined out in the league since December thanks in no small part to the adverse weather conditions.
That gap could prove costly if they are not up to speed but equally it could be of real benefit if they can make up lost ground. A tough one to call.
IrishRugby.ie Prediction: Shannon to win by 1-5 points
BRUFF (16th) v BANBRIDGE (10th), Kilballyowen Park, 2pm
Bruff did not play last week and this is another catch-up game for them. Two wins could see them make life difficult for those above them.
Banbridge won their game against Highfield last weekend and climbed to 10th place as a result. An away win is the likely outcome here.
OLD WESLEY (9th) v RAINEY OLD BOYS (8th), Donnybrook, 2.30pm
Old Wesley lost to City of Derry by a single point last weekend and will hope to go one better this Saturday afternoon.
Rainey Old Boys did a job on Ulster rivals Queen's last time out but can they travel to Dublin and perform to the same level?
RICHMOND (8th) v TULLAMORE (7th), Richmond Park, 2pm
Both sides won by a similar margin last weekend and there ARE just six points between them in the table.
A win for Richmond would probably still see them in eighth place and secure in mid-table.
An away victory could see Tullamore leapfrog Navan and join the throng of clubs chasing a promotion play-off spot.
INSTONIANS (15th) v DE LA SALLE PALMERSTON (11th), Shaw's Bridge, 2.30pm
Instonians are stuck in 15th place and facing the prospect of a relegation play-off unless they can pick up a few more wins and overtake the likes of Sligo and Boyne.
DLSP lost their floodlit game to Navan last weekend and slipped to 11th as a result. It will be interesting to see what they make of the trip to Shaw's bridge.
A home win could make the relegation battle an interesting prospect.
