There are three divisions in total with eight teams in Division 1 and 7 teams each in Division 2N and Division 2S.
Tralee, who were promoted from Division 2S, last season kick off with a trip to Old Belvedere.
The season structure sees the Women's Interprovincial series taking place in December followed by the Provincial Cup competitions as a precusor to the Women's RBS 6 Nations.
The Women's All-Ireland Cup will kick off in early March.
