The Irish Rugby Supporters Club is delighted to announce that tickets for the GUINNESS Series 2013 will go on sale on ticketmaster.ie at 10am on Thursday, May 30.

The Irish Rugby Football Union today announced ticket prices for the GUINNESS Series 2013 and a pre-sale to Supporters Club members, which will open on Thursday, May 30.

Second row Paul O'Connell spoke to the assembled media on the Lions squad's first day at their training camp in Carton House. He cannot wait until the full squad is together and is hoping to be involved in the historic tour opener against the Barbarians in Hong Kong.

Driven by Mark Harrington, IRB Training Manager, and supported by his colleague Douglas Langley (IRB/FIRA-AER), two overlapping courses were held with great success.

The first was an IRB Trainer course with six attendees from the Irish and Scottish Rugby Unions, and the second an IRB Educator course with 21 attendees from the IRFU.

Each of the attendees is an accredited IRFU Tutor and the running of the Educator course over a reduced timeframe was a very welcome endorsement by the IRB of IRFU staff and Tutor development programmes.

Working through a series of modules highlighting the key development initiatives of the IRB globally as well as practical exploration of the educator role, the 21 attendees were supported and given constructive feedback by the trainers who in turn developed their own skills in this area.

A hugely productive three days closed with individualised debrief and feedback sessions to all attendees, before the formal licensing of educators and trainers - many of whom will go on to be deployed on a wide range of player, coach and Union development projects under the IRB's Training and Education Support scheme (TES).
