Minister for Sport Leo Varadkar TD and Ireland captain Jamie Heaslip today launched the GUINNESS Mid-Strength Irish Rugby Gathering which is set to attract hundreds of teams to a one day festival of Sevens, Tag and Touch rugby in Dublin on Saturday, August 17.
Irish Rugby will deliver an estimated 250,000 euro boost to the economy with over 100 teams expected to 'Gather' in University College Dublin on Saturday, August 17 to compete in the GUINNESS Mid-Strength Irish Rugby Gathering, organised by the IRFU and Leinster Rugby.
St. Mary's College RFC celebrated 10 years of Women's Rugby in the Club in 'Grand' style at the weekend with Ireland's Grand Slam Captain Fiona Coghlan and team mate Nora Stapleton in attendance. IRFU Women's Rugby Chairperson, Mary Quinn, was also in attendance for what was a fun filled and proud celebration.
