End Ball

  • The size of the pitch will depend on numbers and the ability of your players e.g. 7 v 7 U/12 would require a area of 30m x 30m
  • At each end of the pitch is a clearly marked scoring zone e.g. a ball on a cone surrounded by cones
  • Nobody is allowed into the scoring zone, a try is scored by knocking the ball off the cone from outside the marked zone with the playing ball
  • You can restrict the numbers of steps that players can run with the ball before passing
  • Defenders can only stand within a meter of the ball carrier to block the ball
  • The ball can be passed forward or backwards
  • Turnovers can occur from a dropped pass, an interception or blocked pass
