Referee Rewards Scheme

As well as receiving a full referees kit and being looked after on game night, all registered tag referees will be automatically included in our referees reward scheme. This is being introduced in 2009 as a way of rewarding referees for their contribution to Tag Rugby during the summer.

At the end of the season all matches refereed will be totalled up and anyone who has reached a minimum of eight regular matches will receive an item of official IRFU teamwear. Bonus points can be gained by refereeing in our one day events such as Beach Tag and the All-Ireland finals.

This will come from the exclusive Puma range (not available elsewhere), the new official kit supplier to the IRFU.

Level 1 - min 8 games up to 15 games: Polo Shirt

Level 2 - 16 games up to 23 games: Fleece

Level 3 - 24 games up to 31 games: Jacket

Level 4 - 32 games plus: Tracksuit and kit bag
