In the northern end of the province, Bud Light Tag is hosted by Ballina RFC in County Mayo and is ever-expanding in Sligo RFC in Strandhill, Sligo.

Both of these venues had an excellent summer in 2009 and look set to be hopping with tag teams already getting in early to ensure their places.  

Further south along the coast, we come to Galway city where Galway Corinthians RFC and UCG host Tag in a Tag-mad town! At Corinthians, there are 72 teams each week enjoying the largest Tag venue around. 72 teams equates to an average of over one thousand players passing through the gates every Thursday evening.

That is the equivalent of a festival every week! No wonder league places there are being snapped up in record time.

Across town, UCG at Dangan are the newest addition to our Tag family in Galway. Having hosted Tag rugby for some time now, Galwegians are spoilt for choice in this fine venue.

The wealth of experience in running UCG as a Tag venue will ensure everyone has a memorable summer indeed.

Also being staged by UCG will be a Spring League which will run for six weeks as a prelude to the summer season for all tag teams in Galway. Details on registrations and start dates will be announced very shortly.

Ready for their first season as a Bud Light Tag venue will be Buccaneers RFC in Athlone. This summer the club will play host to a busy hive of people enjoying everything that Bud Light Tag has to offer - sporting activity and a fun packed social day and evening out in a club with prime facilities and run professionally.

All these venues described here, are prime examples of what makes Bud Light Tag so great and how much this non-contact form of mixed and social rugby is thriving in the province.
