Recognised as one of the Guinness Premiership's best second rows, BOB CASEY has become a London Irish legend in his seven years with the club.
He captained them to a Heineken Cup semi-final last year and led them to the Guinness Premiership play-offs this season, with his undeniable form earning him a recall to the Ireland 'A' squad and now a deserved shot at further senior caps.
The big Maynooth man has enviable leadership qualities, is an exceptional lineout operator and a workaholic in the loose. He made his senior debut for Ireland against Australia in
1999 but his international career stalled after fifth cap against Canada in June 2000.
He came back into the Ireland reckoning by making an appearance against the Barbarians twelve months ago and captaining Ireland 'A' to the Plate title at the 2008 Churchill Cup.
