AN all-action back with bags of pace, Keith Earls has progressed through the ranks at Munster at a rate of knots.
The 22-year-old from Limerick, a son of Young Munster legend Ger Earls, has dazzled for his province in recent seasons. Earls, a member of Ireland's Grand Slam-winning U20 team from 2007, scored in each of the Ireland ‘A’ team’s matches at the 2007 Churchill Cup, and helped the ‘A’ side retain the Plate that summer.
Earls has a bright future ahead of him and made his senior international debut in the Guinness Series 2008 match against Canada at Thomond Park, marking the occasion with a try. His Munster form last season saw him brought into the 2009 B&I Lions squad as one of the youngest players on tour.
