Player Biog
SEAN CRONIN is a dynamic hooker with an electric turn of pace. The recently turned 23-year-old made a name for himself with Shannon and the Ireland underage and 'A' squads and has continued his development with a terrific first season for Connacht.
Having progressed through the Munster Academy, the Limerick man made two appearances off the bench for his home province but he had enjoyed some serious game-time with Connacht, putting himself in the shop window for the summer tour.
Cronin, nicknamed 'Pooch', is a player with a big future and a real try-scoring touch, as seen in the AIB League with Shannon. This step-up to international level is a natural progression for him.
